Choice.

Have you ever struggled with judgmental, critical or self-defeating thoughts?
Oftentimes we leave these negative thought patterns unchecked, but what we don't realize is this:
When we are doing that, we're deeply embedding thoughts that cause us to unconsciously repel the things we truly deserve and desire - money, happiness, fulfillment, love, abundance and freedom.
Our minds have the power to FUEL success in every area of our life.
The way is to ask ourselves
What is it that is acting like an invisible barrier and keeping you from getting the results you want?
Do you know?
Or,
Did you ever ask yourself?
How you developed these "invisible barriers" and more importantly, how you can easily remove them so you can effortlessly move closer towards your goals.
How to reach ultimate success in every area of your life and no, it's not about how hard you work, who you know, or how much money you have. It is about what pleases you, what turns your smile on, what makes you happy and peaceful,

what makes your drive stay fed, what makes your passion spark.
Do you realize, you are someone/something you have been choosing yourself to be!
Do you realize what your daily small choices have been making you?
What have they been turning you into?
If at this moment you doubt any of your simplest choices you have to sit back. Reconsider and make a decision with confidence taking into account what will you be after the fulfillment of that choice?
Reaching colossal success is actually A LOT simpler than we think.
All we need to do is think, feel and act smarter.
But how?
Sit back and give yourself freedom, the chance and space to decide using enough time to intend something, to brainstorm on its pros and cons and assess its implications and impact.
You might be wrong in the long run.
But you know what your boosted confidence, self esteem and belief in your choice without doubt would not let the negative energies pull you down and instead you will move ahead without fear and full of courage no matter what resistance you face.
My question to you is.
When was the last time you gave your choice enough importance?

Forever Dearth

The mind seeks attention, but we have other priorities which consume us, slowly and progressively the mind keeps giving up it's needs for us till one day it can no more.
That is when we suffer mental health disorders. It is as important to take care for our minds as it is to take care of any other organ. Heart expresses its disease and the mind silently bears it, in doing so, in being ignored one dies within, and no one can empathize with you let alone sympathies.
Why such discrimination?
When every other disease and diseased receives both from all sorts of people. Then why doesn't illness of mind receive either?

Torments, taunts, torture?
Struggles, sickness, suffer?
Pretend, pain, penalty?
Stories, society, stigma?
Die, depress, dark?
Hope, heal, hard?
Survivor, struggle, strive!
Dare, determine, drive!
Relax, refresh, revive!

Gratitude.

All my mistakes ignored,

Everytime i prostrated and prayed,

O my Lord, Your nature,

Everywhere i see,

Blessings over blessings!

Andekhi hui har khata,

Jab bhi sir jhukaya aur ki dua.

Aye mery Khudaa!

Laa Jwaab hai terii adaa.

Jidr bhi dekhun,

Attaaa Hi Attaa!

Alone

I see you standing at the door,
Taking your shoes off?
Oh, no.. Getting ready to goo..
Wait..
Leaving, knowing that'll make me lone?
Crying, dying.. Prostrating on the floor
No future, You say..
How can you be soo sure?
And what about the feelings soo pure?
..
.
Alas!
Cry not my heart, weep not my soul!
You were alone,
But you will never be a-lone.
For the one you see standing at the door,
Is no more.

- A Lone.

Ordinary or Extraordinary?

If you’d like to run your own life, you have a lot of choices to make.

Especially in the beginning when choosing your overall direction.

You see, you could choose the path of the ordinary ...

Go it alone.

Train for months before you can earn any money.

Create a product or service that you hope people will want.

Figure out how to market your work.

Reach a growth or financial ceiling.

Or you could choose the path of the extraordinary.

This is, of course, your first and most important decision when stepping out and into the life of as your owner.
One where you market your work through your self - to brand yourself and the talents you offer as a leader of your self esteem and decision making powers.

So, which will it be?

Ordinary?

Or extraordinary?

Tomorrow

You have dreams and now, somehow you are ambitious to pursue them.
How many times have you planned your dreams out in your head – and how many times have you planned to begin it ‘tomorrow’?

Isn’t it funny how we do that? We get emotionally involved with an end result and avoid the work that it takes to get there at all costs. We keep picturing it in our minds and what a drag it seems?
You know! You can picture the dream, you can picture the end result, you can see it in front of your eyes and you know you can't live it unless you have journeyed your way to it. The process is what you can't see and is totally dependent upon how you plan, more importantly how you implement your plan, whether you do or not!

Well, not at all costs – the cost, of course, is never getting to these dreams on the physical plane, and only letting them ever exist in our mind for brief moments of dissatisfaction with our current results.

The truth is, the work to get to these goals can be the most joyful, peaceful and exhilarating times of your life – it’s NOT drudgework, it’s not horrible or awful …

So, why do we always put it off?

    We’re waiting for a guarantee …
We’re waiting for someone to do it for us …
We’re waiting for it to be handed to us on a gold platter…

I’ve been studying in medical sciences and patterns of human behaviour around me– and I’ve been actively pursuing my own dreams along the way.

Every single one of us is doing one thing or an other and missing on some essential keys they are not trying. One's that will unlock your true potential. It is because we never sit back and ask ourselves what have i not done so far. We only ask what am i doing next. This time when you plan, when you discuss, when you execute go beyond what you have been doing, this is the first step to taking risks, hence the first step to exploring undiscovered potentials. Ask yourself how far am i ready to go for this and what is it that i am ready to give in or give up in the process.
You’re dreams will come to fruition – and the process will be the best time of your life one way or the other but do you think you have what it takes to make it the next bext plan, the next best adventure, the next best achievement of your today?

… because TOMORROW is not a good time to start your dream life - it's full of empty promises.

To your success 🥂

Stories you hide.

In the ❤s, they reside,
Cleverly your lips hide.
Them lies!
Clearly seen,
In your eyes.
Those joys, unexperienced, untouched, unfelt,
For whatever you have dealt.
With the smile you put on,
No soul could melt.
Stories unread,
Little that revealed?
Misspelt.

What do you want?

What's the best decision you've ever made in your life?"
Do you have an answer, beyond a shadow of a doubt, was my decision to go/do....
I know starting something is the toughest decision of all, for everyone - and yes, there are many paths on which one keeps pondering to travel on.
But for me, being __________ is the vessel that empowered me to make my biggest impact, achieve my highest potential, and create the life of my dreams.
This gap is yet to be filled, and no one besides you can do it for you.
And if you feel the calling of this path you are supposed to walk, then listen to it, go towards it and let yourself be heard by it. Let it take you on the journey meant for you and only you.
Whether you're already on it, or even if you want to be, but feel held back by your own beliefs, limitations or lack of experience, lets talk.
Ask yourself what do you want.
Omit every fear that is holding you back into a time frame where you would only long for what you could have, should have or may have done.
For yourself. This once. Don't you have dreams? Bring your vision into life. This once. What do you want?

Have you ever?

When was the last time you created something that filled your soul with a deep sense of joy?

Like a personal work of art? A day you saved your mind from all the daily pressure and stress and dedicated to a craft piece or a sketch or painting or maybe some sort of doodle or even an abstract?

A movement in your community? One you wish to lead as a volunteer, or where your heart feels at peace when you put in effort and love to it.

Or even envisioned your own business plan? Well it's not just about money (i'm kidding it is :p), no honestly it is about is it what you want, is this stability your demand, or you would rather work under command.

"Opportunities in life come by creation, not by chance." - Paramahansa Yogananda

Yet many of us spend our lives in consumption mode, seeking fulfillment in other people's soul work instead of our own.

But how would your life change if you could switch to Creation Mode -

And tap into your infinite creation powers (everyone has them!) to shape your greatest reality? You just have to peek in, and believe in the strength you possess (which you really have to acknowledge before you start to add faith to it, give it a spark, an existence.

What would you achieve? What would your daily routine look like? What legacy would you leave behind?

Have you ever thought about this?

Chance.

Intention

Purpose

Everything has been made easy for those it has been created for.
It simply implies.
Everything you are made for and is meant for you will come easy. A sense of comfort has been created in it for you. Only you have to recognise it and read the natures call, accept it without resistance.
Oft in life we keep following and  pursuing things in the names of our dislikes and likes ignoring completely what purpose our existence holds and what passion we never explored.

What if'?

What if you woke up feeling inspired and full of energy - every single day?

What if you knew you were living a life of purpose and passion?

What if you could make an incredible living while also creating a full and abundant life?

What if you understood the power of your brain?

What if you could only imagine success and never procrastinated nor did you ever loose hope?

What if what you thought of receiving was given to you without having to worry about it?

What if you could live every single day without stress?

What if you ain't ready, you ain't willing, you ain't wishing to be the extraordinary to be the unusual self, what if you are?

You know what i can go on haunting you with them words!

But the point is.
"What" and "If" are two words as non-threatening as words can be.
Would you put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life.

So do you know when in learning the 'whats' did you add the 'if' to make your life as miserable as nightmares?
In short let your life be a short happy present, the now. Rather than turning it into a scary today.

Im pretty sure all of us have our "what ifs" and "should haves" and what i realised in removing them, is when you try to come out of it and you succeed a bit, there would come a phase where you will be stuck in the "what if" and the "fuck it"!

Take my advice and FUCK IT.
HARD.

Survival of Fittest?

In real life, it is not the learning which is challenging but the art of unlearning which takes people off hook. It is because this procedure involves acceptance of the fact that what we know is either not right or needs modification. This involves the phenomenon of change, which has been the toughest while making decisions, a tiresome energy consuming task and easily given up of all time except for those who accept it and believe survival of the fittest lies in evolution, or i must rephrase this as survival of the adaptable.

Enough

Enough is Enough!

Image result for enough is enough quotesWhat does it take to make you happy? How much do you have to have to be grateful?
To the barefoot man, happiness is a pair of old shoes. To the man with old shoes, it’s a pair of new shoes. To the man with new shoes, it’s more stylish shoes. And, of course, the fellow with no feet would be happy to be barefoot.
This leads to the ancient insight: If you want to be happy, count your blessings, not your burdens. Measure your life by what you have, not by what you don’t.
Yet in our modern world where we’re continually exposed to endless increments of more and better – others with more money, better TVs, and bigger houses — this is very difficult.
For some people, the pleasure of having something good is drained as soon as they see someone else with something better. Our sense of contentment is created or destroyed by comparisons.
A life consumed with unfulfilled wants is an affliction. The antidote is the concept of “enough.”
This starts by thinking more clearly about the difference between our needs and our wants, between sufficiency and abundance.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with wanting more and striving to fill our lives with things and experiences that give us pleasure, so long as we don’t believe we need whatever we want.
When we think we need what we really only want, we make our desires preconditions to happiness, thereby diminishing our ability to appreciate and enjoy what we do have.
It’s easy to think that happiness is achieved by getting what we want when it’s really a matter of wanting what we get.
In the end, enough is enough, and its time to change.

Advice.

"A friend will not (literally) share your struggles, and a loved one cannot physically take away your pain, and a close one will not stay up the night on your behalf, so look after yourself, protect it, nurture it...and don't give life's events more than what they are really worth. Be certain that when you break no one will heal you except you, and when you are defeated no one will give you victory except your determination...your ability to stand up again and carry on is your responsibility. Do not look for your self worth in the eyes of people; look for your worth from within your conscious. If your conscious is at peace then you will ascend high...and if you truly know yourself then what is said about you won't harm you.
Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allah, and do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from Allah, and do not carry the anxiety for the future because it is in the Hands of Allah.
Carry one thing: How to Please Allah. Because if you please Him, He Pleases you, fulfills you and enriches you. Do not weep from a life that made your heart weep... just say "Oh Allah, Compensate me with good in this life and the hereafter".
Sadness departs with a sajdah, happiness comes with a sincere dua. Allah Does Not forget the good you do, nor does He Forget the good you did to others and the pain you relieved them from nor Will He Forget the eye which was about to cry but you made it laugh.
Live your life with this principle: Be good even if you don't receive good, not because of other's sake but because Allah Loves the good doers".

Subhan Allah!

In a Second.

You want me to be completely honest?

Image result for dance imagesI, always, have been terrified of love. To slow dance with bliss and the prevailing chance of complete misery. Knowing that, it will either save me or it will cripple me.

For if there is one thing beautiful in this crumbling world: It is love.

The curling of souls.

But God, if there is one thing horrific in it, too, then it is most surely loving someone with your entirety,
Only to have it all vanish away within the hint of a second.

FEAR.

What is it for you?

F.E.A.R.

False Evidence Appearing Real, it's primarily an educational problem, and that by reeducating the mind, you can accept fear as simply a fact of life rather than a barrier to success.
"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Whenever we take a chance and enter unfamiliar territory or put ourselves into the world in a new way, we experience fear. Very often this fear keeps us from moving ahead with our lives and goals. We get stuck.
Which simply implies something needs to change.
Get ready to take charge of your life. Change, is not easy, but the only thing it takes is the courage to mold your life the way you want it to be.
Students: are all trying to do the best they can and all uncertain about whether they are good enough. It is a shared phenomenon, just shared with each other to fade tension or to express relief.

We need to understand the underlying cause of all fears of our own and everyone else's.
Three levels or kinds of fear i will discuss:
1. SURFACE STORY
#Thosethat"HAPPEN"
- Being alone
- Experiencing Change
- Losing a loved one
- Becoming disabled
- Children leaving home
- Accident
#Thoserequiring"ACTION"
- Making decisions
- Making Friends
- Ending/Beginning a relationship7
- Asserting oneself
- Making a mistake
- Intimacy

2. Not situation oriented - INVOLVE EGO
Rejection, failure, success, being vulnerable, being conned, helplessness, disapproval, loss of image - all these are related to inner state of mind.
They reflect the sense of self and ability to handle the world. e.g. rejection would remain a rejection where ever it is found - it affects all areas of our life - friends, intimate relationships, job interviews, academics.. and the list goes on, so you begin to protect yourself and as a result greatly limit yourself. You begin to shut down and close out the world around you, living in the bubble you create to hide yourself - the way to isolation, loneliness, depression sets in and self rejection becomes a matter of daily argument of the same ego to mind and heart.

3. I CAN'T HANDLE IT!
At the botton of every one of your fears is simply the fear that you can't handle whatever life may bring you.
The truth is: If you knew you could handle anything that came your way, what would you possibly have to fear?
"All you have to do to diminish your fear is to develop more trust in your ability to handle what comes your way."

You are afraid simply because you are not feeling good enough about yourself.
So, hold onto your self esteem and never let yourself down, prepare for what you are setting yourself into de-clutter your mind, focus and go for it, it is healthy to take risks, it means you tried even if you fall you will rise with greater confidence next time. For we have to fall to train ourselves to be brave.
Hold onto your self esteem and face your fear. From afar it seems huge as long as you keep walking towards it, it keeps getting smaller. Because it was only your perception which makes it bigger and bigger as long as you run away from it. Ask yourself what do you want? Is it important to you?
And remember what you want is on the other side of your fear.
BE COURAGEOUS.
Courage is not the absence of fear, it is acting in-spite of it.
Set yourself free, break out and believe that you have that unstoppable inner power of courage to achieve a triumph over your fears..

The traits, the "Junoon", the love that brought us U Pakistan.. I'm Missing The True Independence.. I'm Missing The True Patriotism.. I'm Missing Completion of Pakistan.. What have we made of the foundation set for us.. Alas.. I myself .. alone am no different.. I am U Pakistan.. I am U Pakistan.. I reflect U Pakistan.. Not just today.. U beat in me!! EVERYDAY.. Define a Pakistani.. Design a Pakistan.. a Role Model for nations to come.. For generations to serve.. Ahh.. I still can't celebrate Independence.. Independence is Long way to come .. It's Pakistan's way to come .. It's yet We who have to make way for it to come..

Junnoon syy.. Aurr Ishq syy..

MILTII HAII..

AZZZAAAADII..

Qurbanii ki bahoo meee..

MILTII HAII..

AZZZAAAAADIII...

Love Pakistan

Always and All ways.. :*

Few years back i sat down and wrote^ this one independence day.

The principles given to us: Unity, Faith and Discipline - have been put to sleep overtime. Whilst what Quaid said “I have no doubt that with unity, faith and discipline we will compare with any nation of the world. You must make up your minds now. We must sink individualism and petty jealousies and make up our minds to serve the people with honesty and faithfulness” is enough.

There is a solid difference between a view and a vision. A vision is seeing or dreaming the desired future whereas, a view is a belief, an opinion or an idea of something.

A view is based of what has happened in past whilst a vision totally creates a picture of the final achievement to be reached. Following this if we know the history and understand the facts, there was a movement which ran for years, till it brought a change within the minds of the people, till it gave them that motivation, that enthusiasm and energy to own the vision of those learned men and to believe in them. This was the change within the hearts and minds of people of Pakistan, a junoon(an obsession). This obsession was what worked for them, what made them work for this country. Back then Pakistan was a vision and we were obsessed to work for it, slowly that obsession has been put to deep slumber and our lights have been dimmed out.
I do not divide the challenges Pakistan faces into names as poverty, religion, cast, illiteracy or any such heading. My view of the situation tells me we are people who have lost that charm, that wisdom, that respect, that obedience, that power, that vision - that unity, faith and discipline. Despite having the worlds most talented people, the worlds most beautiful and diverse landscape, the worlds most favorable agricultural ground, all 5 rivers and 4 seasons and even the most diverse cultures within the borders of one country. I feel divided within, i feel we have no strong belief, we have loosened our reins, lost the strength in our veins and we have ourselves brought all this pain.

I will talk about the "make up our minds" part that Quaid referred to, we as the people of Pakistan need to redirect our focus, what we have indulged into is what he is doing, what she is not doing, what they are doing what them should be doing.. Why is it that we have not for long sneaked into the 'I' part of our existence? Why is that we have for long been pointing at this, that and them? Why have we been looking at that spot here or there for so long? Why haven't we seen the wall that is clean and clear and is being ignored because we are so full of individualism and petty jealousies? What have we thought of improving in ourselves, where is the WE in our lives, when have we all tried to pull each other out of this, when have we grown out of this and helped others grow with us?

We talk about recession, we talk about negativeness, we are cynical, gloom-ridden, bleak, dismissive.. we have become pessimistic over time that we cannot give each other a helping hand but talk, talk and talk about what and why and who and how is wrong. This is where our mindset is limited to, our challenges have put a limit to us and our minds, and yet we are not shaking it off to challenge our limits. The limits we have not discovered because we never thought we can nor did we try to challenge any. What we have lost is integrity, the motivation, the drive, the values, the obsession the love. Moreover the passion the vision, to change, to self reflect.

"If you want to change your life, begin by changing your words, start speaking the words of your dreams, of what you want to become not the words of fear and failure." Such words are spoken when we have a purpose, a vision - a final destination and a drive which makes us obsessed to reach there with passion and love. Working on self is the hardest part altogether, what if we all work to get our lives together, improve on individual basis, after all every single one of us makes the nation, like every single drop comes together to make an ocean.

It's actually not the economic stability, the industrial advancement, the social unity or the spirituality that brings a nation into form, its the obsession to be united, to be diciplined and the love and patriotism for our country along with the faith in self and the nation: that we can dream, we have a vision, we can passionately pursue it, and we are acting upon it.

With this I would stress upon:

Junoon sy aur Ishq sy milti hai Azaadi,

Qurbaani ki Bahoon main milti haii Azaaadii..

The second part says, sacrifice embraces independence. Give up on the words, the negative criticisms, the laziness, the attributes which are actually making us lag behind as a nation. Work on self, Work on self, Work on self. FOCUS on your goals. Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try! Come out of your views and lets make a vision and work for Pakistan with honesty and faithfulness, to bring it to life.

Trust Him.

Trust Him.

Everything about the future is uncertain, but one thing is sure, that Allah has already arranged all our tomorrows. We just have to Trust Him.
Allah's blessings always come as a surprise.. Which are unexpected, non calculated, underestimated and beyond our eligibility.. The amount of these blessings depends upon how much our heart believes. So always expect more from our beloved Allah. What reduction would His giving incur to His treasures??
Locks are never manufactured without a key.. Similarly, Allah never gives a problem without solutions.. Only we need to have faith to unlock them. The best helping hands are at the end of our own arms. So if u can't handle things.. Put your hands together and PRAY!
Know that the darkest time of the day is just before sunrise. So, when you feel at the darkest moment in life, remember that sunshine is just a minute away. Stay calm. Stay put. Stay patient. And Believe All is well! Faith makes everything possible in life and love makes everything beautiful in life.
Do not ask Him for light burden but for strong shoulders. Whenever you are going through a bad time in life and wonder Where is Allah?
Just remember The Teacher is always quiet during a test.
Trusting Allah will not make mountains smaller but will for sure make climbing easier.
Then when Allah leads you to the edge of a cliff just Trust Him completely and I'd rather say Blindly as well, because one of the two things will happen; either He'll catch you or He'll teach you how to Fly!! And when you have Trusted Him and Believed In His Power and Might and Kept Faith in Him then remember.. Some flowers grow best in sun, others do well in shade. Allah always knows what is best for us. So He puts us where we grow The Best. The day you allow your entire existence to believe in Allah and His power over your destiny, your problems would reduce to zero. Believe nothing would go wrong because He's writing the script of your life and You Know He Writes MASTERPIECES. Those who happily leave everything in Allah's hand will eventually see Allah's hand in everything because worry ends where Faith begins. O Allah, when I loose hope because my plans have come to nothing.

Then help me remember that,
Your Love is always greater than my disappointments, and Your Plans for my Life are always better than my dreams. ❤️
The shortest and authentic solution of every problem is Prayer!! THOSE WHO KNEEL DOWN TO ALLAH CAN STAND UP
TO ANYTHING.
And when ye pray.
There are three replies.
1. Yes,
2. Yes, But not now,
3. I have a better plan for you!
There is never a No!!
May we be blessed beyond our expectations.
Just remind your self IT'S ALL PART OF THE MASTER PLAN.
For all those struggling out there.
Remember that: All Good times for my motivation and Bad to strengthen me - Realize that life continues to be like this So be Firm and Focused.

Self Care

Self Care - a need to tend to one's own self, identifying when you are running low on resources and being compassionate enough towards our own being to replenish our sensory, spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs.

Sensory needs - being able to tune into fine details and living in the present moment.
Spiritual needs - are not only related to religion and are applicable to everyone universally, to each individual's sense of purpose. Spiritual self care is about getting in touch with our values and what really matters to us.
Emotional needs - engaging with our emotions and facing them head-on. Pushing down feelings keeps them in the subconscious, whereas accepting them is healthy and helps us move on. Remember it is important to recognize how you feel, what's more important is how we behave in response to our feelings.
Physical needs - relate to the health aspect including sleep, fitness, diet, living, cleanliness, work and positive thoughts.
Social Needs - the absence of sense of being alone, combating loneliness and isolation with the opportunity to appreciate, be appreciated, love, be loved, grow, develop and be!

WHY? - Why would you even be bothered to care for yourself?

Better Productivity - being able to say NO to trivial things helps bring your goals into sharper focus
Improved Resistance to Disease - a body in a restful rejuvenating mode itself helps fortify its immune system.
Enhanced Self Esteem - being good to yourself and meeting your needs which activates the reward system & gives a positive message to the subconscious.
Increased Self Knowledge - helps find our purpose and directs us to our passion.
More to Give - we can not serve from an empty vessel but when our own spirit is full of compassion for self, happiness is unavoidable thats when we have enough of our own to give a little more.

We have got to nourish ourselves to flourish.

What goes wrong?

The child sat on the mother's lap, watching in the mirror as her mother brushed her hair and softly sang to her. The little girl held a doll.
All three, the doll, the child and the mother - had long blonde hair, lovely blue eyes cheeks glowing with rouge and lips that shone with scarlet gloss.
The mother and the child were too lost in their own little world to hear through the open window, sounds of the summer afternoon of the neighbor boys playing a game of baseball and the tunes of ice-cream van chiming in the background. Suddenly, heavy footsteps thudded up the stairs, the mother began to wipe away the lipstick from the child's face. The father of the child stormed into the bedroom with a face full of anger.
"This was not to happen again!" He shouted, his voice loud and harsh.
"I'm sorry," the mother whispered, "I couldn't help it.
"No more," her husband told her, "this time is the last time. I had warned you of the consequences before!" The father swept the child from the mother's lap. The woman's eyes now filled with panic.
"No! she pleaded, "Oh God, don't!Please, don't!" But it was too late, the women watched hopelessly  as her husband carried her child out of the house.
The father carried the child through the great oak doors of the asylum, where a nurse was watching. The father looked at his child and said, I'm sorry for what she did and sorry you let her do it," he turned around and walked away.
The nurse took the child's hand and led her through a long hallway and into a room.
"This will be your room," she said. The nurse went to the dresser, in the corner of the room and took out a plain cotton dress, "and these will be your clothes. Put them on, please."
The child hesitated, then did as she was told. She heard nurse utter a strange sound. Looking up, she saw the woman staring down at her naked body, her eyes wide.
"Did i do something wrong?" the child asked.
The nurse shook her head, "No, child of course you didn't. But we got you the wrong clothes, didn't we? Little boys don't wear dresses, do they? And they certainly don't play with dolls."
The child screamed and fell sobbing on the bed as the nurse took the doll away. He had always thought he was a girl and his mother had always treated him like one. Now, his father had brought him to this asylum so that the matrons could deal with his "mental illness".
The child would not see the doll again, and would anyone outside the walls of the asylum see the child again?

You are Alive.

I never accepted this idea that we should live today like it's our last. I don't want to look at life that way everyday.

I would be concerned that I'd do or say some really stupid things. Things I would live to regret.

Instead I choose to live each day like it was my first ever.

Imagine how exciting that is!

A few minutes ago this thought came to me.

What if we were judged and remembered by the very last thing we did or said?

No accounting for anything you did all the rest of your life. Just the very last thing.

How then, would you live each day?

I am guessing you would try to do more good.

I am thinking you'd help more.

I am sure you would love more.

I take it as a fact that you would tell more people that you love them or that they were important to you.

You might add more to life than what you take from it.

You might find more time to listen to someone who was hurting.

Imagine then how everyone would remember you.

"the last thing you did."

Sometimes life reflects upon you.. Brings you to points where you understand the empty half of the glass to the depth of your souls..

Some events of life bring you to the point wheree you stand so numb.. Nothin sinks in.. Not even the reality.. And then the thoughts rush in..

"You see, my life is so filled with so many incredible moments, I can't waste any time being sad. I could sit in one place the rest of my life just remembering all the times I was glad."

This is my life.

An important part of my life ..

Was this friend of mine..

Zarnab.. I miss u friend.. Not jus yesterday or today.. Maaan all the timee..

All the timee.. ;(

The memories you have carved..

You will neva be far..

No matter how many worlds apart..

Your alive in my heart..

Getting rid of Ria.

Getting rid of Ria.

James Reed was a famous suspense fiction writer, the best in his field. He was suave , debonair and a natural playboy who had his name linked with a different young girl every month. He was a man who had all three G's - Girls, Glory and Gold. What torment could be haunting this man? It was a face from the past, a familiar form called Ria.

"Ria!" James exclaimed in disbelief.
"Yes, it's me," Ria said coolly. "Aren't you glad to see me?"
"You know the answer."
"Do I?" said Ria Laughing.
"What are you doing here, Ria?"asked James through clenched teeth.

James soon found out and the answer wasn't pleasant. Ria had come to attach herself to him like a blood sucking-leech. He had no alternative but to tolerate her for if she told the police about his secret, it would be the end of him. James could not just sit there and let Ria ruin his life. And so, on the day of the party for the Mayor...

"Nice party, James," Ria said.
"Then it's my displeasure, Ria"
"Do you have it every year?"
"Yes! said James curtly. "Now leave me alone!"
"Over my dead body! You are too valuable to me."
"Over your dead body, eh?" James murmured under his breath.

James went upstairs. Then, after making a few arrangements, he leaned over the head of the stairs and called out to Ria. "Ria! Have you a moment to spare?"

"Sure coming right up!"
"Someone has dropped a gold chain down the bathtub drain," said James.
"Not me, for sure. Maybe one of your many girlfriends."
"Here. Take this flashlight. If you lean over, you can see it shining, down there."

Ria took the flashlight and leaned over, squinting into the drain. James then raised a short length of lead pipe and struck her two or three times with great precision. Blood splattered all over the bathtub and onto the bathroom walls.

Cold-bloodily and methodically, he washed and dressed Ria.
"Over your dead body, eh?"
"Over your dead body, eh?" James repeated.
Then he dragged her into the wine cellar. Triumphantly, he lowered the dead body into one of his wine barrels and sealed it. James then cynically marked it 'Grade One', the only barrel bearing this mark. James was about to ascend the stairs when the front door bell rang.

"Oh Lord! Why must they come now?" It was the Hudson's. They had arrived early from a game of Bridge. Ria had invited them over. James, thinking fast, brought a bottle of wine up the stairs and opened the door. Then he began his Oscar-winning performance. He brought Ross and Jacqueline Hudson into the living room and then he broke down in front of them. He said that Ria had left him after they had had a row. When the Hudsons left, he began to plan. A vacation in Hawaii - A few months or perhaps a year.

A year went by and Ria became just an image, a fading one next to the attractive blonde beside him. James was reading letters from home while lying in the sun. As he was reading the one from his brother, he turned pale and beads of cold sweat formed on his brow. He had read:
".....found your key under the door. The Mayor was upset to hear you would not be able to come to his party. So your dear brother made amends for you. I gave him the only 'Grade One' wine you had in your cellar. He was pleased and said that he will open it at his party. Wish you were here.

Who is sick?

CARING FOR A SICK PERSON AT HOME.

She was profoundly distinct from other girls. Pretty, ravishing, astute, genial, obedient, in fact all the qualities that one could be aware of suited her character. Or so, every body thought. Like other girls, she would have lived to enjoy life, hangout with friends, go to college but instead of indulging in such jovial activities; she had responsibility she could not ignore.. attending to her father who was hanging to life by a thread of hope.

Afshaan was the only daughter of her parents. Her mother had died when she was twelve. Her father, Mr. Bilal, who never recovered from this bereavement, had an excruciating accident. Although he survived, his arms and legs no longer remained active. He could neither speak nor move and had to spend rest of his life in bed. He was fond of his pet Bunty, a flamboyant, idyllic parrot with gaudy colored wings. The parrot was placed in his room and both had great attachment with each other.. but seeing his master in such a bilious condition, Bunty also led a cloistered life.

Yet, Afshaan looked after her father with remarkable devotion. Her only motivation was hope. Hope that her father would soon recover and everything would revert to normal. Abysmal self-restraint made her earn the title of "The Impeccable Nurse" from her cousin Ahsan. He would have innumerable guests. They would praise her for her fortitude, pass some formal remarks to Mr. Bilal, endeavor to cheer Bunty, and would leave. Of course, no one could measure the intensity and assuage the pain that Afshaan had to bear.

Afshaan's perpetual role of nursing her father had gradually strained the relations between the two as she would often curse her luck and consider her life monotonous. She used to envy her friends going to college, leading an animated life. Soon her affection for her father underwent a dramatic transformation. She became irascible and would often yell at him. She was in fact fed up., fed up of the incessant coughs of her father, fed up of his mute expressionless countenance; above all, she was fed up of her father himself.
One night she made a decision, which was both evil and fateful. She decided to end this once and for all.
She prowled to her father's room with mingled feeling of indignation, desperation and melancholy. Her father was fast asleep but woke when he heard and saw his daughter approaching him. He smiled... Afshaan grasped a pillow in her hand and choked her despot cut father to death crying out loud. "Rest in peace, you old mess," and again, "Rest in peace, you old mess," till the old man breathed his last.
After realizing what a heinous deed she had committed, she called her cousin Ahsan and attempted to gain his sympathy. Ahsan consoled her by saying that she had disposed off her duties well.
"But how did it happen?" Ahsan inquired.
"He probably had a stroke," she replied.
In that moment, out of nowhere Bunty cried out,
"Rest in peace, you old mess!"

Rejection.

What's important?
Getting over with it, facing it, accepting it?
What's important to learn?
How to overcome its fear?
How to deal with it?
How to avoid it?
What is more important and is genuinely going to help you live through the phase of rejection with ease?
Acceptance and Surrenderance.

Accepting that it is a part of life, we know it can come yet we dissociate it from our lives. But you see? In the kingdom of desert, water is the king and shadow is the queen. When you are in this desert you don't have your king nor your queen. You feel alone and dejected. Only because your will wasn't fulfilled and so you can't at that time in any way submit to what is being decided for you in your good because you can't see the good in what life decides for you seeing what is better and beyond your thinking.
Surrender to the consequences of rejection, the actual fear which consumes one. We cannot deny the pain but we can acknowledge the emotion. Admitting what you feel is positive attitude and compassion towards self. It provokes you to take care about who you are and not let rejection define you.
Surrenderance is a proof to the fact that you have pushed your limits in trying to achieve a certain goal, passion or person. This proof makes it evident that you are taking the learning from it and are ready to move to the next chance and avail the opportunities opened for you with greater energy, mature will and renewed power.
In despair, we oft keep looking at the door that is closed for us for so long that we fail to notice one that is opened for us. This i would say is a failure upon failure.
Rejection hurts, it definitely does, would you want to keep on living in pain?
Move on and see rejection as redirection.
Life doesn't get easier, only you get stronger!
And when you reach further on paths opened for you, you will realize why that decision and rejection were meant for you and what you gained from them.
If only we could see the gain in rejections we would smile to the loss offered in the past.
Gratitude fills us when we are capable of recognizing how we are being protected through rejections from what we would not have been able to bear truly.

The Culprit!

While i wrote the prose yesterday i thought to direct myself as to why i chose to write the 10 year old prose today.

Ever felt like you cannot take a start? Stuck or hung over in time, with things, work, thoughts or even feelings?
Procrastination is a thief which sets in quickly when it sees you there. It steals away the little time you have left after all that was letting you down. But you see it is a thief but it is not your culprit. You are!
Because you do not recognize your needs, you let the passion inside die and leave an empty space for things like procrastination, distraction, hesitation .. to take over and consume you.
Tend to your needs, become stronger by the day, know yourself, get to know who you are and what is it that you want. Do not kill your ambitions, goals and focus. How do i kill them you ask? By not watering a plant and by depriving it from sunlight we ultimately take charge of its murder, we murder the self we pretend to care so much about.
My only question is can't you give time to your self?
Nourish it, cherish is, appreciate your efforts and little achievements and guess where you need to take a kick start from? Gratitude.

The Twin Pictures - Death and Life

This is a beginning of my blog, to my own surprise i feel like sharing a prose i wrote when i was in 8th grade.

Let's begin :)

From Darkness to Light.

Why does life has to be so much complicated and solicit? Why does it always ask for more than we can give? Yet, in return, the only thing we get is solitude and sorrow. Why?
I have heard people talking along these lines but had never experienced it myself, until today. Now as is sit here alone in my room. I conclude that fate has indeed demanded from me more than i could afford to give. If only somehow I could put an end to this never ending suffering. If only..
But, Alas! the only end to a humans suffering is death or receiving what they want. As the later isn't possible all the time, suffering only ends when life does. Death is the crown of Life.
Yes! This was the only answer I was looking for. I felt proud of myself for coming up with an answer. A smile spread over my face after many weeks. I stood up with great effort. My feet couldn't support the weight for long. 'I was too weak'.
Thud! there i was on the floor again. My head hit against the table and started bleeding. On any other normal day if it'd happened, I would have had the fits of screaming with whole family around me. But today it was not any other normal day. I was about to do something big, to put an end to all the pains and sufferings, try to get to the end of my life or rather a new beginning to another life. As you may see it.
I stood up once again - more cautiously this time and toiled towards what I needed. "Do it", said my inner voice, trying to convince me. It's not that difficult. This pain would end all other worldly pains. It was a bargain. I decided to accept this temporary pain and in return give all the suffering that i would've endured throughout my life. This, my final decision couldn't be altered, no matter what! I proceeded.
Crying, I laid down on the floor. Fountains of blood flowing through my wrist formed a puddle around my leg. It didn't hurt as much as I had expected. I tried to recall my good times with the people in this world. Only to realize that they were the most dreadful memories. They only made it difficult for me to go. I could feel the whole world floating as I pushed myself towards the edge of my life. I closed my lids and felt my warm tears depart from my eyes and rest on my cheeks. The day turned to night.
As i breathed my last I could feel someone inside me glad for this newly found freedom. I could feel someone, inside - drifting away , drifting away to another world. Swirling through life, the gardens, the flowers, the pain, the
darkness, the light, the happiness, the success, failure, love, companions, memories.. I found myself in bright mist never experienced before, with unformed nothingness that surrounded me. Things became visible, presenting beyond the mist - two pictures. Equal in length and equally wide. Both were same yet different in some way. One was blue so full and vibrant, it looked inviting, revealing and full of excitement, light so soft, so pure and curing, looked so tempting and alluring. While the other picture was calm and just as cool, as the only difference was of day and night, the most intriguing sight, the picture was dark, dim and cold holding secrets and stories untold. Consuming, holding covering around self. It swirled ending in a sight one couldn't miss. The realization dawned upon me as sharp as a knife. The twin pictures were 'death and life'.
At that precise moment appeared in my sight shimmering and glittering stars ending in a gleaming ball of swirling light before me. It was happiness. It said: Dear, no one knows the exact and accurate time of it. There is no halt to it. It takes away everything we have, leaving behind our loved ones to cry. Everyone has to die one day and everyone has to face face it either it be today or maybe the next moment. It can come it peace, pain, war, poverty stricken area, due to scarcity of food or water, any disease or any other worldly cause. "After all, to the well organised mind, death is but the next great adventure.
Then the glowing ball started circling my head making me dizzy. Tumbling, i fell in one of the pictures. But which one??
I'd come back to life as everything turned black and then light invaded. How weary, stale, flat and unprofitable seemed to me all the uses of this world. For all the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players. I realized there are far far worse things in the living world than dying.
There are two types of lives. Dejected - troubled one and the other full of joys. It depends on you the brighter or darker. The choice is yours in both cases 'we' make our life. "So people! prefer what's lasting to what's transitory and live your life to the fullest as if every today is your last day because that's the way life will eventually decay!"
Bravery lies in fighting back being provoked, keep struggling and not quitting or running away!
